When Dad got home we had a fantastic buffet of Dad's favorite treats. Swedish berries, chocolate covered raisins, peanut m&m's, all dressed chips and other yummy things.
Ethan had an idea to make one HUGE sandwich and then cut it into pieces. Dan loves sandwiches and was quite open to the idea that the entire sandwich was his. Josh decided that Pina Coladas would be yummy, he was right!
Dan & Ethan put together Dan's Father's Day gift. An outside heater, so we can sit outside longer in the evenings.
We made some Chili Lime smoked wings. THEY WERE AWESOME! Definitely a recipe keeper.
Dan says 'heck yeah it was a great day'.
But.... Daddy had prepared a little something for US on Father's Day. He had written, and read aloud, a letter to each member of the family. The letters were full of encouragement and love. Thanks Dad. We wanted to make you feel special, but you made all of us feel special instead. You are the best Dad ever and we LOVE you!!
