My good friend Janine asked if I could watch baby Jade for a few hours one afternoon. I enthusiastically (as enthusiastic as I can get on text) said yes. I picked her up from her mom and went to get Emily from Gramma's house. Emily didn't want to leave Gramma's early, but once she saw the surprise I had in the car she stopped fussing. We had to drive to Langley, and honestly that was the quietest Emily has ever been in the car. She sat watching Jade the whole drive and didn't say a single word. I promised Emily that she could 'hold' baby Jade as soon as we got home. She loved every minute of it. She sang and cooed and talked in her tiny baby voice to her. See how thrilled Jade is?

Visit from Baby Jade

I love those girls!! Emily was so excited to have Jade visit all afternoon. It was one of those really good baby visits, Jade was perfect.
